Victoria Falls, Harbor of Rio de Janeiro, Grand Canyon, Mount Everest, Great Barrier Reef, Paricutin Volcano, Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis
EPIC
There are a lot of great resources in EPIC. There's a good video called "The Seven Wonders of the Natural World" by Encyclopedia Britannica that provides a good overview of all 7 sights. There are also books and video resources for the Grand Canyon, Mount Everest, and the Great Barrier Reef.

Discovery Education
There are a lot of great videos in Discovery Education. Unlike YouTube, students can explore freely in the Discovery Education site. I didn't find much for the Harbor at Rio de Janeiro.

Google Earth
Explore these sites in Google Earth to understand it's location on Earth, see photos, and explore street view. I especially like seeing street view of the Great Barrier Reef. Kids will go underwater and see coral and fish. This is not a good resource for Northern Lights.

YouTube for Kids"YouTube for Kids" is one way to give kids a little more freedom in finding their own videos. They will run into some unwanted videos, but they are general not inappropriate, just distracting. Students should be held accountable for trying to stay on task and only watch videos that support their research project.

YouTube 360 VR VideosIf there are iPhones available, students should look at YouTube 360 VR videos. Students can use the VRPlayer to watch the videos on their iPads. It is too cool to see things in 360 degrees!

Kiddle
Kiddle is a Safe search engine. Students can use it to search for information for their research project.
