Today we learned about how the Sun's interactions with the Earth effect the temperature on Earth. Temperature is how hot or cold something is. Temperature is measured using a thermometer and is commonly measured in Fahrenheit or Celsius. We talked a little about the history of the US adoption of the metric system. The different seasons are caused because the earth is tilted on it’s axis and it revolves around the Sun. It is typically colder in winter and warmer in summer.
